Beautiful construction. I am going to learn from you experience so thank you for posting pictures. I am a freelance seamstress and I have found that hand sewing knit hems is the best way to go. It allows for perfect manipulation of the fabric and a couture finish. I feel I am worth the extra time and my customers pay extra for it. It just looks so much nicer. Occasionally I can get my antique adjustable hem foot to work, it just depends on the fabric. You can get the adjustable hem foot on eBay or amazon for around $30.00. I found mine at an antique shop for $6.00 and they had no idea what they were selling me. I did a little jump for joy when I found it!
